Where I Live
This is used to find out where the Pet comes from, you can add any info you would like, we recommend not using your full address.
Call
Upload Call feature is used to contact you instantly by phone, set up your mobile phone number and of course you change it any time.
Text Message
Another alternate contact feature using Text message to contact you instantly. A good alternative is there is a lack of phone signal.
WhatsApp feature can also be used to contact you instantly, great if you only have Internet and no phone signal. Your phone will require WhatsApp.
Additional Contacts
With this feature you can add additional phone numbers for the Call, Text & WhatsApp features as well as Emails. You can also identify them e.g. Dave Office, Sue Mobile, Home etc.

Enter any very important information that someone who finds your Pet must know. (Allergic to, do not pick up) Any text..
Holiday Mode
Easily change your contact details with a start time and back to normal with an end time automatically.
Send Location PIN
This feature allows a Location Pin to be sent via text message which can then be used to reunited you easily with your Pet even in remote locations like a forest.
Free Loss/Damage Replacement
Should you loose or damage your Pawfinda for any reason we will send you a replacement completely FREE of charge. You only pay the PnP.
Lost Pet Alert
When the Pawfinda tag is activated you are automatically emailed with a Google map location area. Just open the email and click on the link, it will automatically open Google maps and show the general location area.
Full Pet Management System
Its a complete filing system to store all your pets information and documents. It is private which only you have access to via your own PIN number. You can share this PIN with a relevant person e.g. your vet or someone looking after your pet so they can see all the information, you can change the Pin number afterwards should you wish to stop their access.

In each file you can upload any information you would like. You have Free type text sections as well as Documents & Photo uploads in many formats, such as JPG’s PDF’s etc.

We’ve collated some of the most frequently asked questions about how the Pawfinda digital pet tags work.
Tap the Pawfinda with the top back of your phone as you would a contactless payment card.
NFC (Contactless) is normally already turned on, if not this is how to turn it on with your Phone.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Control Centre / Connections
3. Scroll down and tap NFC to turn on.
There maybe a shortcut to the NFC button in your control centre / shortcut icon menu
The QR code on the back of the Pawfinda tag can be scanned by a phones camera / QR app to load the pets profile in the same way as a contactless tap of the Pawfinda tag.
Contactless technology is built into nearly all smart phones and has been for a long time. If for any reason the phones NFC reader does not work or has been turned off, the QR code can be scanned with the phone’s camera / QR app.
No problem, you can put as little or as much information on the Pawfinda tag profile, everything is Free Type, you do need your mobile number though.
You only need 1 account and log in as you can have multiple tags in your dashboard.

The Pawfinda has an embedded pre-programmed contactless chip as well as a QR code, it can be read by almost any smart phone by a contactless tap of the tag or scanning the QR code, both will load the pet’s profile with all the contact functionality.
The finder’s phone will hold the activation code until an internet or Wi-Fi service is available.
A precise GPS location pin is sent via text which can then be used to reunite you easily with your pet, even in a remote location. Text messages are more likely to be sent and received successfully with a weak signal, particularly good for remote locations. This does rely on the phone’s location setting being on. Please note Tailfinda is not a GPS tracker.
When the Pawfinda tag is activated, you are sent an email with a general GPS location. Open the email and click on the map link, it will automatically open maps and show the location area. This is a general location and will allow you to narrow down the search for your pet. The person activating the Pawfinda tag does not know the location email is being sent. This does rely on the phone’s location setting being on. Please note Pawfinda is not a GPS tracker.
It’s a secure online filing system to store and view all your pet’s information and documents i.e., lab results, vaccination records, medical procedure records and noteworthy events. The system has pin access, this enables you to give a relevant people access e.g., your vet or someone looking after your pet, should you wish. You can change your pin at any time via your dashboard.
